* MTPE applies where the machine-translated output is sufficiently usable to be corrected and polished efficiently. Where it requires extensive source comparison, major correction, or substantial rewriting, it may be quoted as bilingual revision, full bilingual revision, translation, or editorial rewriting.
** Bilingual revision applies to an existing translation that is already generally sound and requires a lighter review for accuracy, fluency, terminology, and naturalness.
*** Full bilingual revision and editing includes a thorough source-against-target review, correction of inaccuracies, terminology consistency, register, fluency, and a polished final pass. It applies where the translation is fundamentally usable but needs careful professional refinement.
**** Where a text requires substantial rewriting, restructuring, paragraph-level redevelopment, or turning weak translated English into polished public-facing English, it is quoted as editorial rewriting rather than per-word revision.
Editorial rewriting is charged according to the degree of intervention, source quality, structural work, subject complexity, and the amount of rewriting required.
Copywriting and project-based English content are quoted according to briefing, drafting, revisions, and final polish.
